Kim was the first to wake in the sunny, LA dawn of Christmas morning.  No stockings were hung at the fire place because…who has a fireplace in LA?

She remembered last Christmas when she and Kourtney got into this fully epic fight because Kourtney had copied her lights.

It makes me not want to have a big family because no one is effing original – she thought.

Then she remembered her mother’s promise, and slipping her hand under hill pillow, she drew out a crimson colored Versace bag.  It wasn’t the exact one she had wanted but she then she thought There’s a lot of baggage in our family.  But at least it’s Versace baggage.

She woke up Kourtney and discovered that Kris had bought Kourtney the white bag she had wanted.

“White is actually one of my favorite colors.  I have a white car.  I love white,” Kim said, grabbing the bag.

“That’s so embarrassing for your life.  And your soul,” retorted Kourtney, as she cuddled Mason, Reign and Penelope.

Khloe, Kylie and Kendall joined them right as the argument was about to start.  It appeared that they also had new Versace bags in blue, black and gold. But given they were normal human beings, they were grateful and went downstairs to thank their mother.

As they swarmed Kris with hugs, she smiled and said, “If that’s what it takes for you guys to be nice to me…at least I figured that out.”

“But seriously,” Kendall said.  “Family is what life is all about.”

“And a little bit of alcohol,” Khloe said, sipping her wine.

Kris lay the Christmas breakfast on the table.

“Mom, I’m on a diet,” Kim said, grabbing a piece of bacon.

“Right, enough about your weight,” Kourtney said. “Let’s eat.”

As they all gathered round the table, they joined hands and Kris began to pray, “Dear Lord, we thank you for this meal and …”  She trailed off as her phone rang. “Hold on, I have to get this.”

And she disappeared into the living room, the girls started taking selfies so their food got cold.

When Kris, returned she suggested they bring their Christmas breakfasts to the less fortunate, “Merry Christmas, little daughters! I'm glad you began at once, and hope you will keep on. But I want to say one word before we sit down. Not far away from here lies a poor woman with a little newborn baby. Six children are huddled into one bed to keep from freezing, for they have no fire. There is nothing to eat over there, and the oldest boy came to tell me they were suffering hunger and cold. My girls, will you give them your breakfasts as a Christmas present?”

“That’s a great idea,” said Kim. “Hashtag Christmas Giving.”

They drove their new Mercedes Benz to a zip code less fortunate. They knocked on the door, at quite the surprise to Dr. Mike Johnson, a dentist, and his wife Lois, a teacher.

“We know you are less fortunate than us, so we wanted to give you the gift of Christmas this year,” Kris said, walking into the 4 bedroom ranch house.

In a few minutes, it really did seem as if kind spirits had been at work there.  Khloe, who had carried their Christmas presents from last year distributed them to the Johnson’s children.  Kris gave them their leftover Christmas breakfast, although they were nearly finished with their own.  Kourtney cuddled the youngest Johnson daughter as if it were here own.  Kylie and Kendall began to feed the children as if they were hungry birds. And of course, Kim took selfies.

“We’ve never been called angels before,” Kim said.

“Yeah, we didn’t call you that…” Dr. Johnson said, obviously feeling uncomfortable. “We live in Brentwood…our kids go to private school.”

“That’s loving our neighbor better than ourselves,” Kris said.

They all hugged each other and jumped into the Mercedes, leaving the Johnsons in a cloud of confusion.

“Look, we already have 25,000 likes on Instagram,” Kim smiled and said. They all jumped on their phones and liked the photo as well.

“25,005 likes,” Kendall said.

They all smiled, knowing this was a start to a great Christmas.
